Urban Inn Changlun 3D Front-Lit LED Signboard | Kedah

Urban Inn Changlun 3D Front-Lit LED Signboard

Pikoh Design completed the fabrication and installation of a customised 3D front-lit LED rooftop signboard for Urban Inn Changlun in Changlun, Kedah.

The large “urban inn” logo and lettering were installed above the hotel building to provide clear brand visibility from the surrounding road and commercial area. Its elevated rooftop position makes the hotel easier for guests and passing motorists to identify from a distance.

Custom 3D Front-Lit LED Lettering

The signboard features individually fabricated 3D logo and channel letters with front-facing LED illumination. Light projects through the front face of each letter, creating a bright and clearly defined appearance at night.

The original Urban Inn logo, lettering style and bird symbol were carefully reproduced to maintain the hotel’s established brand identity.

Rooftop Signboard for Maximum Visibility

Installing the lettering along the roofline provides a wide viewing range without covering the building’s architectural features. The dark building façade also creates strong contrast against the sign, improving its visibility during the day.

At night, the internal LED lighting helps the hotel name remain visible to guests arriving from different directions.

Benefits of Front-Lit LED Signboards

Front-lit LED signboards produce direct illumination through the front surface of the letters. This creates a bold and highly visible result that is suitable for hotels, retail shops and commercial buildings.

LED lighting also provides consistent illumination with lower energy consumption compared with many conventional lighting systems. Individual channel letters create a cleaner and more premium appearance than a flat printed signboard.
